Happiness

is not a cigar called Hamlet - it is browsing the London Transport Museum photo archive. Relive your youth. Look at your old Tube station. Be amazed at the art-deco glory of Boston Manor station. Or not.

I'm having mental flashbacks to, of all places, Park Royal tube station too. Is that equally glorious, or am I trying to delete grim memories? Did they do fancy stations to spruce up otherwise grim areas? (Where the hell is Boston Manor?)

Boston Manor is on the Piccadilly Line, just before Hounslow on the way to/from Heathrow. Park Royal has never staggered me as a station - it seems to be a standard 1930's design - it is next to the A40 into Central London. Truly a grim part of town.
