Soviet Espionage
Pavlik has mailed me this link to Soviet maps of the UK (via BoingBoing). The Central London map will soon be replacing the Hulk as my wallpaper at work. No maps of Portsmouth, but I guess Soviet spies would have felt right at home, in an Ирония судьбы, или С лёгким паром! kind of way, given the architectural devastation of the city...

The Hulk? As in, The Incredible? Aber warum? Lovely map. A slight shame that they've transliterated Vauxhall as Воксхолл, or is it an urban myth that that's where the Russian word for station came from?
