I can't believe anyone I know is under 30, unless they belong to the generation of my nieces and nephews. I am 75. How did that happen? Time is ruthlessly and relentlessly unfair.
I've got a feeling he's going to hit the big 30 in March, though this could be bollocks. His birthday is certainly in March, but he might be about to turn 17. Dunno. Although his marital status would suggest seniority has been reached, oder?
My life is one long series of gap years. The last six or seven have been one long gap. (He did have one. In gorgeous Novgorod, with an incredibly nice family.)

Jesus, how can you still only be 29? Does that mean you were six when we first met? What were you doing at university?
Scary, isn't it. I was (just) 21 back then.

Pavlik is still under 20, isn't he?

I'm sure he is only a year older than me. GAP year in Russia before coming to SSEES?

Non-birthday-related PS. Hark at him with the new blog layout! Is there a familiar scribe at Los Excluidos? I'm sure I recognise one of those souls...
Happy Birthday Liukchik!
Here's hoping we meet before the year is out...
And yes, 30 in March as my wife has been reminding me for the past few months...
