Misha Glenny would appear to know every language under the sun. Of course I'm deeply envious. I thought he must be the same person as Michael Glenny, the translator (of Master and Margarita, zum Beispiel), but perhaps they're father and son. There must be SSEES connections galore, somewhere. Nice piece, though. I wish I was trotting round eastern Europe and not translating in my living room. Too dull... All well in London?
Tragically, he doesn't seem to be a SSEESite, although he should be made an honorary one...
