I'm with you on this one. Abandoning my Slavic loyalty just for a game. Angola got a chance against their former masters later? Doubt it, but I'd like to think so. Folk are protesting outside the Iran game. Hurrah! Some politics at last...
Angola have no chance - even though Portugal's greatest player ever was Angolan. I also have Portugal in the sweepstake, so they have win. The Netherlands are looking particularly good, and they still have Van de Vaart to come on.
I thought he was from Mozambique. Or aren't we both talking about Eusebio? Do you know that Ruud Gullit's father played for Surinam?
He was from Mozambique - sorry. Confusing my colonies... BTW, Gil Scott Heron's (1970's American poet/musician/activist) father played for Celtic in the 1950's.
